Brother Pearry Green - Introductory Sermons

(Note: These and other sermons are available on audio MP3 CDs from Tucson Tabernacle.)

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" (Hebrews 2:3) When we say a person gives their heart to the Lord or that a person is saved, what does this mean?

The way you come to the Lord is just as you are. You don't have to dress or walk or appear in any particular way. It is just as you are. When you feel that tug or that invitation, that is the time or the day of salvation in your life. Some say, "I'd like to do that, but I can't." Why not? Are you in chains or in bondage or in handcuffs? If you say you want to be free, and you can come just as you are, and Jesus said, "Let whosoever will, come," then what hinders?

In this sermon, Brother Green explains how to come to the Lord.

In this sermon, Brother Green explains water baptism.

Brother Pearry Green gave a series on some basic Bible teaching.

Paul told things to a bunch of people in Thessalonica and in Berea. Those from Thessalonica stoned him and drug him outside of the city for dead. Those from Berea, as the Scripture says, were more noble, and they searched the Scriptures daily in case these things were so. [Acts 17]

That’s all I ask you to do when you hear me bear witness of these events that I believe God did in my generation. Don’t just write them off, search the Scriptures, look at history, see if there’s some truth in it for you.

I’m not asking you to follow me. I’m asking you to let me be a witness to you that I believe God has truly visited this generation with a mighty prophet.
